Dominic Ortega has been a dance music aficionado for as long as he can remember having lived a miss-spent youth and blaming his addiction on EDM. From the tender age of 16 he attended illegal warehouse raves in the early 90s, frequented regular trips to Ibiza during summer breaks in the 00s, and then most recently living as an expat in South America; where his love affair with Progressive House music really started to flourish. Since 2016, he has spent endless hours learning the art of EQ & phrase mixing, not taking any short-cuts to fast track his craft and believes his sets can create a musical journey; evoking a provocative, uplifting and emotive response from his listeners. Deliberately standing at the intersection where Progressive and Melodic House music cross paths, has enabled him to develop a unique ‘sound DNA’ which has caught attention from various radio stations and promoters in the UK House music scene. In 2023, Dominic plans to play live sets at Festivals/Bars/Clubs where he’s hoping his distinctive sound will captivate his audience!
