DJ Michael Roberts’ greatest influences are the late legendary Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson (The Loft) and Bobby and Steve (The Zoo Experience). As a young DJ, Roberts was heavily influenced by the London house and garage scene.
Making the move from London to Melbourne in 1995, Roberts became a regular at some of the city’s most iconic underground clubs, gaining respect and recognition as one the city’s most ‘true to his sound’ DJs. He was well known for playing deep house, jazzy house, funky house and soulful garage.
Roberts passion for playing vinyl sets has never left him and he is now back producing and deejaying vinyl and digital music after taking a break from the club scene to raise his family.
