Mark Russell joins We Get Lifted Radio on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 9pm UK.
Mark started DJing when he was 12 in a North London bedroom with three life long friends. Whilst they moved to Hardcore and Jungle Mark transitioned to House and held residencies across London spanning 20 years and has played at some the most prestigious venues in the UK.
His big break came when he was asked to be the House resident for Trevor Nelson’s Sunday Night “Rhythm Nation” in London, a position he held for 8 years. No stranger to radio Mark had weekly shows at both Freeze and Vive FM and could often be heard on Kiss 100 FM with a guest slot.
Close links to AM:PM & Kool World Records meant his creative side could be related with remixes and original productions under his childhood nickname “Rusty”.
Lockdown Lives, and pressure from friends to restart parties has lead to Mark reviving his DJ career and club night promotions.
